ORDER
This writ petition has been filed for issue of writ of mandamus directing the 3 rd respondent to act upon the online application submitted by the petitioner on 18.02.2025, wherein, the petitioner has sought for the transfer of patta in his name and in the name of the other legal heirs of late Kandhasamy with respect to the subject property.
2.Heard Mr.K.Karthik, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner and Mr.M.R.Gokulkrishnan, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents.
3/6 3.The petitioner had earlier filed W.P.No.22662 of 2024 before this Court challenging the order passed by the Tahsildar, Attur, Sale District, rejecting the request made by the petitioner for change of patta in his name. This writ petition was disposed of by an order dated 09.08.2024, directing the Revenue Divisional Officer to pass orders on the appeal filed by the petitioner, within a period of twelve weeks. Pursuant to the said order, the order came to be passed by the Revenue Divisional Officer through proceedings dated 18.12.2024. In the light of this order passed by the Revenue Divisional Officer, an online application was submitted by the petitioner on 18.02.2025, seeking for transfer of patta in his name.
Since the same was not considered, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court seeking for appropriate directions. 4.Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the materials placed before this Court and taking note of the proceedings of the Revenue Divisional Officer, Attur, dated 18.12.
