Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, for the issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 4 to take action against the respondents 5 to 8 for illegal trespass and tried to grab the petitioner's property in survey No. 418/3 New Survey No. 418/3B1, 3B2.

O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents 1 to 4 to take action against the respondents 5 to 8 for their illegal trespass and attempt to dispossess the petitioner from the property situated in Survey No.418/3, New Survey No.418/3B1, 3B2.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the first respondent, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for

the respondents 2 to 4 and the learned counsel appearing for the fifth respondent. Perused the materials available on record.

3. Based on the complaints lodged by the petitioner and the respondents 5 to 8, CSR Nos.52 and 43 of 2025 were issued by the third respondent. Since the matter pertains to a land dispute, the same was referred to the Revenue Divisional Officer, Tiruvallur, for enquiry, which is pending. Pursuant to the direction issued by the Revenue Divisional Officer, Tiruvallur, the Tahsildar submitted a report dated 30.04.2024. However, no final order has been passed by the Revenue Divisional Officer, Tiruvallur, till date.

4. In view of the above, the Revenue Divisional Officer, Tiruvallur, is directed to pass final orders on the dispute, after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and the respondents 5 to 8 herein, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.

No costs.
