This Civil Revision Petition is filed under Section 25 of the Tamil Nadu Buildings (Lease and Rent Control) Act 18 of 1960 as amended by Act 23 of 1973 and Act 1 of 1980 against the judgment and decree dated 01.02.2011 passed in R.C.A.No.167 of 2007 by the learned VII Judge, Court of Small Causes, Chennai (Rent Control Appellate Authority), confirming the fair and decreetal order dated 08.12.2006 passed in R.C.O.P.No.814 of 2006 by the learned XIII Judge, Court of Small Causes at Chennai (Rent Controller).

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he has addressed a mail by registered post to the revision petitioner which got returned with an endorsement that the addressee has left the known address.

2. Normally, in such circumstances, this Court would order a Court Notice to the respondent. But in the present case, since the learned counsel for the petitioner himself reports that the registered mail he has sent to the petitioner returned unserved, there is no other means and possibility to serve a Court Notice to the petitioner.
