Mr.S.Muthuraj, learned counsel takes notice for respondents.

2. Petitioner was appointed as a salesman in the TASMAC shop No.619 under the third respondent. He was transferred to shop No.912 on 07.02.2009. While, he was working in the said shop, he suffered severe pain in the spinal cord and he was admitted as inpatient in Abirami Hospital at Cuddalore on 04.09.2009 and underwent a spinal cord surgery. from the said hospital on 10.10.2009. He also took treatment as out patient for sometime. After recovery, when he reported to duty, he was denied employment. According to the petitioner, disciplinary proceedings was not initiated as against the petitioner. His absence for the aforesaid period was only due to the spinal cord surgery. Hence, he made representations dated 06.11.2009 and 21.3.2015 to provide him employment. Since, no orders have been passed, he has filed this writ petition to dispose of his representations.

In view of the limited prayer made, writ petition is disposed of permitting the petitioner to make a fresh representation to third respondent explaining the aforesaid fact including the medical certificate relating to spinal cord surgery and the third respondent is directed to pass appropriate orders within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the representation.
