O R D E R

The prayer sought for in the present petition is to call for the records in Crime No. 5 of 2017 pending on the file of the first respondent police and quash the same.

2. Pending Criminal Original Petition, the petitioner and the 2nd respondent/defacto complainant have amicably resolved the dispute between themselves and accordingly, they have entered into a compromise and filed a Memorandum of Compromise dated 30.06.2017.

3. In order to identify themselves, the petitioner and the 2nd respondent have submitted the photo copies of their Aadhar Cards viz.,1. D.Ramkumar - 781864868846 and 2. V.Amutha - 811871230012 and after verification of the original cards, the same are recorded.

4. Today, the petitioner as well as the 2nd respondent/defacto complainant are personally present before this Court and also have been identified. An Affidavit dated 04.10.2017 was also filed by the 2nd respondent/defacto complainant to the effect that she has no objection to quash the proceedings in Crime No. 5 of 2017 pending on the file of the first respondent police.

5. Recording the same, the proceedings in Crime No. 5 of 2017 pending on the file of the first respondent police is quashed. The Criminal Original Petition is allowed. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
