O R D E R

This petition has been filed to direct the respondent/Police herein i.e., the Inspector of Police, E - 2 Royapettah Police Station, Royapettah, Chennai to file the Final Report pertaining to the petitioner's complaint dated 28.07.2018 which was registered in Crime No.195 of 2018 under Section 384, 385, 406 and 420 of IPC, pending on the file of the respondent/police herein.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the respondent police.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that though the respondent has registered a case in the above said crime number on 28.07.2018 no final report is filed till date.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent Police would submit that the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

respondent police may be permitted to file a final report within a period of three months.

5. In view of the above, the respondent police is directed to either file a final report or closure report, as the case may be, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order under due intimation to the defacto complainant.

6. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
