The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offence punishable under Section 498A, 294(b), 323 and 506(ii) r/w.Section 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act, in Crime No.Not known of 1/4

2020, seeks anticipatory bail.

2.Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent Police submitted that the petition enquiry in C.No.46 of 2020 is pending against the petitioner. 3.The learned Counsel for the petitioner submitted that the respondent police is harassing the petitioner under the guise of enquiry.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances, the respondent police is directed to conduct the enquiry and if any prima facie case is made out against the petitioner, register the F.I.R or close the petition enquiry within a period of four weeks from today and report before this Court on 06.07.2020. 5.Post the matter on 06.07.2020 for reporting compliance.
