Respondents Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a writ of mandamus directing the 2nd and 3rd respondents to ensure strict implementation of the moratorium of fee payments payable to schools and colleges in Tamil Nadu as specified in the G.O.(Ms).No.199 dated 20.04.2020 in its true letter and spirit, in accordance with the Disaster Management Act, 2005.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by M.M.SUNDRESH, J.) Seeking a direction to respondents 2 and 3 and to ensure strict implementation of the moratorium of fee payments payable to schools and colleges in Tamil Nadu as specified in the G.O. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

(Ms).No.199 dated 20.04.2020 in its true letter and spirit, in accordance with the Disaster Management Act, 2005, the present writ petition has been filed.

2. The issue involved is no longer res integra. A Government Order has also been passed in compliance of the order passed by the learned Single Judge. There is a Government Order passed apart from the order of the learned Single Judge considering the issue sought to be raised before us.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that a complaint has been made for non-compliance of the above by another private school management and the same will have to be directed to be implemented.

4. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that the complaints, if any, will be looked into and appropriate action will be taken.

5. Recording the statement made by the learned Special Government Pleader, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
