Respondents [R-6 impleaded as per order dated 08.02.2011 in M.P.No.2 of 2011 in W.P.No.2167 of 2011] PRAYER : Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to appoint the petitioner to the post of Pharmacist under the priority category of deprived land owners by taking into account the employment exchange seniority among all the candidates coming under priority category for appointment to the posts of Pharmacists.

Today when the matter is taken up for consideration, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that on 20.09.2013 the petitioner has been appointed in the post of Pharmacist and thereafter, the said order was cancelled by the Director of Social Obstetrics by order dated 30.09.2013.

2. Therefore, in the light of the above subsequent events, the present Writ Petition is liable to be dismissed as infructuous. Accordingly, the same is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
