PRAYER: This criminal miscellaneous petition has been filed under Section 528 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita 2023, to modify the condition imposed as Vellore South or Vellore North Police Station 8(b) instead of the petitioner shall stay at Vellore and report before the Inspector of Police, Vellore Town Police Station, every day at 10.30 a.m., until further orders in Crl.O.P.No.5931 of 2025 order dated 04.03.2025. ORDER

The petitioner seeks modification of condition no.8(b) directing the petitioner to stay at Vellore and report before the Inspector of Police, Vellore Town Police Station, every day at 10.30 a.m., until further orders in Crl.O.P.No.5931 of 2025 dated 04.03.2025.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner.

3. Learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that the petitioner has been regularly appearing before the Inspector of Police, Vellore South Police Station, Vellore.

4. Considering the aforesaid fact, this Court is inclined to modify the condition in para no.8(b) imposed on the petitioner in Crl.O.P.No.5931 of 2025 dated 04.03.2025 to the effect that the petitioner shall appear before the respondent police daily at 10.30 a.m., until further orders. The other conditions imposed in the order dated 04.03.2025 in Crl.O.P.No.5931 of 2025 shall remain unaltered.

5. Accordingly, the criminal miscellaneous petition is ordered and the condition is modified.
