ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed challenging the docket order dated 04.03.2025 in Crl.M.P.Sr.No.142 of 2025 in S.C.No.108 of 2023 on the file of the III Additional District and Sessions Court, Poonamallee, thereby

returned the application on the ground that the petitioner is not entitled for the copy of CD and CCTV footages, since they are electronic devices.

2. Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner is unable to explain what is the CCTV footage required by the accused. Without knowing the place of the CCTV footage, the petitioner had mechanically filed this petition only to drag the proceedings. That apart, the petitioner is the son and he had murdered his own father. Therefore, the copy of the CD and CCTV footages could not be furnished to the petitioner and the application filed by petitioner was rightly rejected by the Court below and this Court finds no infirmity or illegality in the order dated 04.03.2025 in Crl.M.P.Sr.No.142 of 2025 in S.C.No.108 of 2023 on the file of the III Additional District and Sessions Court, Poonamallee.
