When we have taken up this matter on the earlier occasion, i.e., 08.06.2017, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, accepted notice on behalf of the Vellore District Police.

2. Shri.K.Kandeepan,the Inspector of Police, Kondapalayam Police Station, at Vellore, has done really a good job by tracking the signals from various cellphone towers, and somehow, traced the detenue, the missing person, Dhanalakshmi, daughter of the writ petitioner. Woman Head Constable, by name Vijayalakshmi, has also caused the production of the missing girl. We place on record our sincere appreciation to the good work done by the Inspector of Police and the Woman Head Constable. We have interacted today in the Court Hall with both the missing girl and her parents. Since the missing girl is less than 18 years of age, we not only set her at liberty, but also restore her custody to the parents in the Court Hall today. We recommend to the Superintendent of Police, Vellore District, to convey an official appreciation letter to both the Inspector of Police and Woman Head Constable, whose prompt action has possibly prevented any potential trafficking of women.
