ORDER

This writ petition has been filed to direct the official respondents to correct the UDR Patta for the property, morefully disclosed in the affidavit filed in support of this writ petition.

2.According to the petitioner, the name of the 4th respondent has been wrongly mentioned in the UDR Patta for the property, morefully disclosed in the affidavit filed in support of this writ petition. The petitioner seeks for rectification of the alleged mistake. The petitioner had given a representation earlier requesting the official respondents to consider the petitioner's request for rectification of the UDR Patta. Since the same was not considered, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.

3.Mr.D.Ravichander, learned Special Government Pleader accepts notice on behalf of respondents 1 to 3.

4.The competent authority to pass final orders on the petitioner's representation is the first respondent. No prejudice would be caused to the respondents if the petitioner's representation is considered, on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing the objections of the fourth respondent and any other third party whom the first respondent deems it fit to enquire, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. Since no adverse orders are being passed against the fourth respondent, notice to the fourth respondent is dispensed with by this Court.

5.For the foregoing reasons, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the petitioner to submit a fresh representation to the first respondent seeking for rectification of the alleged mistake in the UDR patta for the property, morefully disclosed in the affidavit filed in support of this writ petition along with the supporting documents, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On receipt of the said representation within the stipulated time, the first respondent shall pass final orders, on merits and in accordance with law on the petitioner's representation, after giving due consideration to the supporting documents produced by the petitioner and after hearing the objections of the 4th respondent and any other third party whom the first respondent deems it fit to enquire, within a period of twelve weeks thereafter. No costs.
