ORDER

The grievance of the petitioner is that there is no progress in the investigation pending on the file of the first respondent herein. Seeking for transfer the present petition is filed.

2. Heard, Mr.R.Sasikumar, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mrs.P.Kritika Kamal, learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) for the respondents.

3. It is submitted by the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) that the investigation in Crime No.36 of 2017 on the file of the W-38, All Women Police Station,Tambaram has been https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

transferred from the first respondent herein to All Women Police Station, Thirumangalam, wherein the investigation is now pending.

4. In my view the ends of the justice would be met if a Superior Authority is directed to monitor the investigation being conducted by the Inspector of Police, All Women Police Station, Thirumangalam.

5. In the result, the Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of with the direction to the Assistant Commissioner of Police, Tambaram/second respondent herein to monitor the investigation in Cr.No.36 of 2017 to be conducted by the Inspector of Police, All Women Police Station, Thirumangalam on a day to day basis. The Inspector of Police, All Women Police Station, Thirumangalam shall also endeavour to file a final report within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
