ORDER

The learned counsel for the respondent submits that a proposal is pending with the Government.

2.This Writ Petition is filed for a direction to the 1st respondent to consider and fix the salary of the petitioner on par with the post of the Web Offset Machine Technician.

3. When the matter came up for hearing today, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents submitted that a proposal sent by the second respondent dated 28.12.2017 bearing reference No.25951/A1/2016 is still pending with the 1st respondent. He

would submit that the 1st respondent will consider the said proposal and take a decision in accordance with the law within such time as may be specified by this Court.

4. It can be seen that the proposal has been pending since 2017. In view thereof, this Writ Petition is disposed of on the following terms: (i) The 1st respondent shall consider the proposal dated 28.12.2017 bearing reference No.25951/A1/2016 and take a decision thereon in accordance with the law on merits within a period of 6 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

(ii) No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed, if any.
