Premature Release to the petitioner's grandfather/Convict namely Mr.Rengan @ Chinnathambi S/o.Sadaiyan (CT No.16440) set him liberty in view of G.O. (Ms)No.430 dated 11.08.2023 by the 1st respondent under the category of 5(III) MEDICAL INFIRMITIES and Rule 632 of Tamil Nadu Prisons Rules, 2024 in pursuance of Petitioner's representation dated 05.12.2025 and may pass such further or other orders.

ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by Dr.Anita Sumanth J.) Mr.Muniyapparaj, learned Additional Public Prosecutor assisted by Mr.M.Sylvester John, learned Advocate accepts notice for the respondents and has obtained instructions enabling us to dispose this Writ Petition, even today, by consent expressed by both learned counsel.
2. The prayer of the petitioner, grand daughter of the life convict Mr.Rengan @ Chinnathambi @ Rangasamy, S/o Sadaiyan (convict), aged 75 years presently confined in Central Prison, Coimbatore, is for a mandamus seeking pre-mature release of the convict on the ground of his suffering from various medical infirmities. Her representation is dated 05.12.2025.
3. Mr.Muniyapparaj accedes to the receipt of representation and states that it is under consideration. The petitioner has also filed a compilation containing various Government Orders, Circulars and case law that she relies upon in support of her plea for pre-mature release of the convict.
4. Recording the undertaking of Mr.Muniyapparaj, there is a direction to R2 to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 05.12.2025 and pass orders on the same, in accordance with law and in line with various Government Orders/Circulars cited by the petitioner, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from today.
5. Since the mandamus sought for stands achieved by way of this order, this Writ Petition is closed.
