O R D E R

This writ petition is filed in the nature of mandamus seeking direction for the first respondent consider the petitioner's representation dated 03.11.2014.

2. No representation on behalf of the petitioner. On earlier occasion the petitioner did not appear before this Court. Hence, today this matter is listed under the caption "for dismissal" and even then the petitioner has failed to be present.

3. Learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents submitted that the petitioner though has completed the qualifications of Bachelor of Education in the month of march 2014, he did not inform the Department about the same before the crucial date for panel preparation which was 01.01.2014. Accordingly, the panel was prepared without including the petitioner's name in the panel for English B.T. for the year 2/4

2014. The petitioner made the objection to the DEEO Kancheepuram only on 03.11.2014 when the promotion counselling was conducted. Subsequently, considering the request of the petitioner, his name has been included in the panel of English B.T. Teachers for the year 2015.

4. In view of the above facts and circumstances, it is clear that the grievances of the petitioner has already been responded and readdressed by the respondent, and perhaps the same is the reason for petitioner not showing interest in prosecuting the case any more.

5. Accordingly, this writ petition stands dismissed for non prosecution. However, there shall be no order as to costs. 08.11.2023 Index : Yes Speaking Order (sha) 3/4
