O R D E R

The petitioner has come up with this writ petition, seeking to direct the respondents to consider his representation dated 11.08.2014 regarding granting compassionate appointment.

2. Writ petition is directed as against co-operative society. This Court is of the view that the same is not maintainable in view of the larger Bench of this Court in K.Marappan vs. Deputy Director of Cooperative Societies, Namakkal reported in (2006) 4 CTC 689.

3. Hence, the Writ Petition fails and the same is dismissed. However, this will not preclude the petitioner from approaching the Revisional Authority under Section 153 of the Tamil Nadu Cooperative Societies Act claiming the relief which he has claimed in this writ petition. No costs.
