Respondents Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issue of a Writ of Mandamus, forbearing the respondents from converting any portion of the land in S.No.45, 46(part) of No.53, Madananthapuram Village, Sriperumpudur Taluk in the Sub Registration District of Kundrathur to any other use other than a park and directing the fifth respondent to hand over maintenance of the park land in the aforementioned survey number to the Madananthapuram Residents' Welfare Association so as to ensure that the park land is maintained as a lung space free of construction so as to serve posterity and public good.
