Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records pertaining to the order dated 28.05.2020 in RC.No.A1/0792/2020 passed by the 4th respondent, quash the same and consequently, direct the 4th and 5th respondents/College Committee/8th respondent to till up the post of Principal in Pacyaiyappa's College Committee/8th respondent to fill up the post of Principal in Pacyaiyappa's College on temporary basis till the SLP(c) Nos.26631 and 26633 of 2019 before the Hon'ble Supreme Court is over or till regular recruitment is made, either on in-charge basis to the senior most Associate Professors in Pachaiyapa's College, including the petitioner, based on the willingness or strictly based on the qualifications, merit and ability from among the eligible Associate Professor in Pachaiyappa's College, Chennai-30 with costs.

ORDER
The instant Writ Petition has been filed challenging the appointment of the 6th respondent, whereas the 6th respondent has been transferred to the different college and some other person was appointed in his place. Therefore, the issue involves in this Writ Petition has become infructuous. However, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks for liberty to challenge the appointment of the incumbent in the place of the 6th respondent. She has also made an endorsement to that effect.
Recording the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Writ Petition stands dismissed with liberty to challenge the appointment of present incumbent as indicated herein above.
