ORDER

Challenging the notice dated 29.03.2010 issued by the second respondent, demanding property tax in respect of the property at Door No.3/24, R.R.Fair Lands, Salem, the petitioner has come up with the present writ petition.

2.When the matter was taken up for consideration, the learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions, submitted that the petitioner is no more and hence, nothing survives for adjudication in this writ petition.

3.Recording the submission so made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this writ petition stands closed, leaving it open to the authorities to recover the property tax from the legal heirs of the deceased petitioner, in the manner known to law. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is also closed.
