ORDER
Heard Mr.K.Goviganesan, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.R.Vijayakumar, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents.
2. The petitioner seeks for the issuance of a writ of mandamus, directing the respondents to consider and pass orders on his representation dated 13.10.2014 within a stipulated time. 3.The petitioner would state that his patta land has been wrongly classified as depressed class land by the Revenue authorities and hence seeks for removing the said status in his patta. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Learned Additional Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents submitted that there is no jurisdiction for the authorities to deal with the matter and rectify the entry already made and in this regard, the representation submitted by the petitioner has already been forwarded to the second respondent and after conducting enquiry,he has to pass appropriate orders.
5. In the light of the above submission, there will be a direction to the second respondent to pass orders on the petitioner's representation dated 13.10.2014 on merits and in accordance with law within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
