O R D E R

The Contempt Petition has been filed for non-compliance of the order passed by this Court in Crl.O.P.No.18090 of 2021 dated 05.10.2021.

Mr.R.Palani, Sub Inspector of Police, B1, Town Police Station, Tiruvallur is present before this Court. 3.

The petitioner herein, earlier filed Crl.O.P.No.18090 of 2021 before this Court, seeking a direction to direct B1, Town Police station, Tiruvallur to investigate and file a final report in Crime No.261 of 2019, this Court by order dated 05.10.2021 directed the police to complete the investigation and final a report within a period of two months. Thereafter, no action has been taken. Hence, the above contempt petition has been filed.

Learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent submitted that in this case investigation has been completed. There are totally four accused in this case, who are facing charge for the 2/4

offences under Sections 120B, 448, 379, 506(ii) r/w 34 IPC and under Section 3(1) of Tamilnadu Public Property (Prevention of Damage & Loss) Act, 1992. Now the case has been taken on file as P.R.C.No.2 of 2023 by the Judicial Magistrate-I, Thiruvallur and the case was initially posted on 12.01.2023 and now it is posted to 08.02.2023. 3.
