CRP (PD) No.2455 of 2021 CRP (PD) No.2455 of 2021 R.SUBRAMANIAN, J., In paragraph 5 of the Order dated 17.11.2021, I have stated that Section 33 of Act 42 of 2017 defines the jurisdiction of the Rent Court.

2. It is now brought to my notice that while the Act was amended in 2018, the provision relating to jurisdiction of the Rent Court is Section 34 and not 33. Hence, Registry is directed to correct and replace Section 34 instead of 33 in the first line of paragraph 5 of the Order dated 17.11.2021 and issue corrected order copy by 07.12.2021.
