By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

2.The petitioner claiming to be the Dharmakartha of Namaitchevayapuram East Mariamman Temple, submitted an application dated 3.6.2015, seeking permission to conduct a cultural programme, which includes song and dance programme, and since it has not been given disposal, came forward to file this writ petition. 3.The learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner, would submit that in the event of permission being granted, there will not be any obscenity or vulgarity during the programme, and no law and order problem is also anticipated and prays for appropriate orders. 4.The Court heard the submissions of Mr.V.Subbiah, learned Special Government Pleader, who accepted notice for the respondent, also.

5.Though the petitioner prayed for a larger relief, this Court, without going into the merits of the application/representation, directs the respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's application/representation dated https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
