PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Certiorari, to call for the records connected with impugned order Ref. No.CHN/TN/26998/Comp/CC-2/26/8f/Regl/2015 dated 25.02.2015 issued by the 2nd respondent under Section 8 F of the EPF Act and quash the same.

Pursuant to an order passed under Section 7A of the Employees Provident Fund Act, 1952, the Employees Provident Fund Authorities had passed the impugned order dated 25.02.2015 under Section 8F of the Act.
2.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that at the time of filing the appeal, they have already paid 50% of the amount determined under Section 7A and pending the present Writ Petition, they have also remitted remaining 50% of the amount and thereby have discharged their liabilities, by complying with the orders passed by the Authorities under Section 7A. Accordingly, the attachment was also raised by the concerned Bank.
3.As such, the grievance of the petitioner has been met in the present Writ Petition and therefore, no effective orders can be passed. In view of the discharge of their entire liabilities, this Writ Petition stands closed. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are also closed.
