ORDER
Heard Mr.K.Rajasekaran, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.V.M.G.Ramakkannan, learned counsel appearing for the first respondent and Mr.V.Jayaprakash Narayanan, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the second respondent.
2. The petitioner appeared for the examinations conducted by the respondents and appeared for 32 papers. On account of the malpractice, the order of punishment was imposed and the results of all the papers were cancelled. This decision was accepted by the petitioner. Subsequently, the petitioner was permitted to reappear for 32 papers and he paid the examination fee and he was issued with the hall ticket for the examinations conducted in November, 2013 for all 32 papers. According to the petitioner though he was willing to appear for 32 papers, 10 papers were encircled in the hall ticket stating that he has already passed by using the abbreviation "A.P".
Therefore, he did not appear for 10 papers and appeared for the remaining papers and now the petitioner has submitted a representation requesting for publication of results of those 10 papers. The copy of the hall ticket has been filed in the typed set of papers, which shows that in respect of certain papers, the concerned subject code has been encircled and in the top, it has been written as "A.P". This, according to the petitioner is the abbreviation for "Already Passed". It is to be noted that the abbreviation or the encircling does not contain proper authentication. In any event, that issue need not be gone into, since the request of the petitioner is to consider his representation.
3. In the light of the above, there will be a direction to the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 08.01.2014 on merits and in accordance with law and pass orders within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
4. The writ petition is disposed of, as stated above. No costs.
