ORDER

The prayer in the Writ Petition is to grant the legal heirship certificate in respect of the petitioner's father V.Munusamy by considering his application bearing No.TN-7202308102635 dated 26.08.2023.

2. Upon hearing the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Advocate General appearing on behalf of the respondents and perusing the material records of the case, it can be seen that the petitioner's father died on 03.12.1975. Subsequently, some of the other legal 2/5

heirs have also died. Under the circumstances, when the legal heirship certificate is now needed for sale of one of the properties the petitioner has made the above application. Initially after considering the application since the death was of the year 1975 the Revenue Inspector enquiry report revealed that he could not found out the legal heirs, and the petitioners were directed to appear for the enquiry.

3. The learned Additional Advocate General would submit that the matter is posted for further enquiry on 02.04.2025 at 3.00 P.M.

4. In view thereof, let the petitioner appear before the second respondent on 02.04.2025 at 3:00 P.M for enquiry. The second respondent shall consider the issue. The petitioner shall also muster such evidence in proof of the legal heirs including filing of affidavits and the death certificates etc. The second respondent shall complete the enquiry and pass final orders thereon within a period of six weeks thereafter. The party shall act on production of the web copy of the order without waiting for the certified copy of the order.

5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
