..Respondents Prayer:- Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for a writ of mandamus directing the respondents1 and 2 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 21.11.2017 and 13.06.2018 and pass appropriate orders to promote the petitioner herein as post graduate teacher in any Government Higher Secondary School in the Sate of Tamil Nadu within a time stipulated by this Court. ORDER

The grievance of the petitioner in this case is that he has made representations for his promotion to the post of PG Assistant from BT Assistant dates back in 21.11.2017 and the last representation was made on 13.06.2018. But no action in

this regard having been taken and hence, the petitioner has come forward to this Court seeking a Mandamus to consider and dispose of her representations within a stipulated period. 2.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that since there is inaction of consideration of his representation, he filed this writ petition seeking the aforesaid relief and therefore, necessary direction be issued. 3.

Mrs.P.Kavitha, learned Government Advocate submits that no promotion has been taken up, inasmuch as the seniority in the cadre of BT Assistant has not been fixed. It is only in the event the promotion is taken up, the petitioner can be said to have grievance for consideration of his representation and in such view of the matter, the writ petition appears to be without any substance inasmuch as, no prejudice has been caused to the petitioner as yet.

Considering the aforesaid facts and submissions made, this Court is of the view that the prayer made by the petitioner appears to be prematured. However, while preparing the seniority list for BT Assistant and for preparing panel for promotion to PG Assistant, if the petitioner is aggrieved by any manner, he can very well approach this Court.

With the aforesaid order, the writ petition stands disposed of as pre-matured. No costs.
