O R D E R

This petition has been filed to direct the respondent to enquire the case and file a final report in FIR No.15/2014 within a stipulated time framed by this Court.

2. The petitioner herein lodged a complaint as against one Rajamanickam and his son Suresh Babu for the alleged offence under Sections 294(b), 420, 465, 471 and 506(ii) IPC. The said complaint was registered in Crime No.15 of 2014, but till date the final report has not been filed. Hence, the present petition.

3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondent.

4. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the case is investigated by the Sub-Inspector of Police, Anti Land Grabbing, District Crime Branch, Villupuram and lot of documents are to be verified during the course of investigation and sufficient time may be granted to the Sub-Inspector of Police, Anti Land Grabbing, District Crime Branch, Villupuram, for filing the final report.

5. In view of the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Court directs the Sub-Inspector of Police, Anti Land Grabbing, District Crime Branch, Villupuram, to complete the investigation and file the final report as expeditiously as possible. The criminal original petition is disposed of accordingly.
