ORDER
This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 20.02.2014 on merits and consequently, direct the respondent to pay Family Pension to the petitioner from 31.08.2009 in accordance with law.
2. The case of the petitioner is that her husband was employed as a Scavenger/Sanitary Worker in the respondent Corporation from 1969 onwards and he was dismissed from service on 02.06.1998. However, the Labour Court passed an award dated 23.01.2001 in I.D.No.672 of 1998 setting aside the order of dismissal and ordering reinstatement with backwages. It is stated that the order became final. While so, on 31.08.2009, the petitioner's husband died. The petitioner has made representations dated 02.09.2013 and 20.02.2014 for payment of pension and other terminal benefits. The respondent Commissioner failed to pass orders granting pension and other terminal benefits. Hence, this writ petition. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
3. Heard Mr.A.S.Thambuswamy, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Dr.C.Ravichandran, learned counsel appearing for the respondent.

In view of the narrow prayer made, this writ petition is disposed of, directing the respondent to consider the representations of the petitioner dated 02.09.2013 and 20.02.2014 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
