Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to give permission to conduct the dance programme and Adal Padal in the event of Sri Madurai Veeran Vellaiammal Boommiammal Thirukalyana Thiruvizha on 03.04.2019 at Ellies Nagar, Govindapuram Village, Dharapuram Taluk, Tiruppur District. Mr.B.Anandan Government Advocate O R D E R Mr.B.Anandan, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondent. By consent of the parties, this main writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. The petitioner seeks for Mandamus directing the respondent to give permission to conduct the dance programme and Adal Padal in the event of Sri Madurai Veeran Vellaiammal Boommiammal Thirukalyana Thiruvizha on 03.04.2019 at Ellies Nagar, Govindapuram Village, Dharapuram Taluk, Tiruppur District.

3. The learned Government Advocate, who takes notice for the respondent submitted that already a circular memorandum dated 31.10.2018 has been issued by the Director General of Police to all the Station House Officers/Inspectors indicating the conditions to be imposed while considering the grant of permission to "Aadal Padal Programme". Therefore, he submitted that the petitioner's representation will be considered by the respondent in the light of the Circular already issued by the Director General of Police dated 31.10.2018.

4. Recording the above said submission, this Writ Petition is disposed of, by directing the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 20.03.2019 and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law on or before 01.04.2019. No costs.
