..Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's representation dated 20.11.2020 as per the provisions of the Street Vendors (Protection of Livelihood Regulation) Act, 2014 and till such time, not to disturb with the running of the petitioner's bunks shop at Near Park Compound Wall, Opposite to CEE Bros Apartments, Sathiyadev Avenue, Chennai-600 028, wherein selling Tea, Coffee and other food. The petitioner has submitted a representation dated 20.11.2020 to the third respondent Committee, for running the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Bunk Shop near Park Compound Wall, Opposite to CEE Bros Apartments, Sathiyadev Avenue, Chennai-600 028 and since the said representation is kept pending without passing any orders, the petitioner has filed the present writ petition.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, Mr.A.Selvendran, learned Government Advocate for the first respondent and Mrs.P.T.Ramadevi, learned Standing Counsel for the respondents 2 and 3.

3. Considering the limited scope of prayer, this Court, without going into the merits of the claim projected by the petitioner, directs the third respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 20.11.2020 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken to the petitioner.

4. With the above directions, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
