Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of 1/4

India, for the issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent herein to issue necessary Gazette Notification and to permit the petitioner to conduct '' Erudu Vidum Vizha 2025" at Jerdhalev Village, Palacode Taluk, Dharmapuri District followed by Thai Pongal in every year and Sri Thimmanhali Venkataraman Temple on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 12.12.2024 and 24.02.2025 made by the petitioner to the respondents and consequently direct the second respondent to permit the petitioner to conduct '' Erudu Vidum Vizha'' in every year with imposing any condition.

This petition has been filed directing the first respondent herein to issue necessary Gazette Notification and to permit the petitioner to conduct '' Erudu Vidum Vizha 2025" at Jerdhalev Village, Palacode Taluk, Dharmapuri District followed by Thai Pongal in every year and Sri Thimmanhali Venkataraman Temple on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 12.12.2024 and 24.02.2025 made by the petitioner to the respondents and consequently direct the second respondent to permit the petitioner to conduct '' Erudu Vidum Vizha''.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the 2/4

learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent.

3. In the light of the standing operating procedure for organizing Erudu Vidum Vizha even as per the letter dated 22.12.2023 issued by the Animal Husbandry, Dairying, Fisheries and Fishermen Welfare (AH3) Department, Secretariat, Chennai-600 009, the second respondent is directed to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner and pass appropriate orders in the manner known to law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. No Costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed. 18.03.2025 Vv 3/4
