The relief sought for in this writ petition is for issuance of a direction to respondents 1 to 3 to consider the representation dated 17.12.2014.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner contended that the writ petitioner is working as a Driver in Tamillnadu State Metropolitan Transport Corporation and a criminal case was registered against him under Sections 304(A) of IPC and 184 of Motor Vehicles Act on account of a road accident. He has participated in the trial and he was acquitted in the criminal case. Thereafter, by enclosing the judgment of the criminal court, the writ petitioner made a representation to the respondents on 17.12.2014 to grant him all annual increments and other monetary benefits, which was deferred during the pendency of the criminal proceedings.

3. However, there is no decision has been taken by the respondents on the representation submitted by the writ petitioner. Thus, he is constrained to move the writ petition seeking the relief of considering his representation. Without going into the merits and demerits of the case, the third respondent is directed to consider the representation of the writ petitioner submitted on 17.12.2014 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of 8 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of. However, there is no order as to costs.
