Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 and 2 to grant permission to conduct the cultural programme of Adal padal on 03.09.2018 at 07.00 PM to 11.0 PM at "Sri Venugopala Swamy Temple festival" Vadapudupattu Village, Vadapudupattu Post, Ambur Talulk, Vellore District by consider and pass orders on the representation dated 13.08.2018 made by the petitioner within a time frame as may be fixed by this Court.

O R D E R

Seeking permission to conduct cultural programme in the Sri Venugopala Swamy Temple at Vadapudupattu Village, Vadapudupattu Post, Ambur Talulk, Vellore District, on 03.09.2018, the petitioner addressed a representation dated 13.08.2018 to the respondents. As the same has not been considered, the present writ petition has been filed.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents seriously objected the relief sought for in this writ petition. According to him, there was a communal clash in the said area, in which, the petitioner was involved and F.I.R has also been registered against him.

3. In view of the submission so made by the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, this Court is not inclined to grant permission to the petitioner to conduct the cultural programme in the temple in question. Hence, the writ petition is dismissed. No costs.
