O R D E R
The petitioner has filed this petition to direct the first respondent to consider and dispose of the representation dated 19.07.2021 and 14.11.2022 and sanction and disburse family pension and death cum retirement benefits of A.Vijayakumar S/o.Annamalai, Office Assistant, Taluk office, Srierumbudur Taluk, Kanchipuram District.
2. The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner's husband was employed as office assistant and joined the service on 23.12.1998. But, he died in harness on 01.05.2017. Hence, the petitioner's daughter sought for compassionate ground appointment and she was given compassionate ground appointment as Village Administrative Officer on 17.06.2019. However, the death benefits of the petitioner's husband was not settled to the petitioner. Therefore, she made a representation dated 27.12.2022 before the second respondent, who in turn sent a communication stating that the service records Page No.2 of 6
of the petitioner's husband is at the office of the District Collectorate, Chengalpet and once records are received, the petitioner's representation will be considered. But, the respondents have not disbursed the death benefits. Hence, the petitioner has made another representations dated 19.07.2021 and 14.11.2022 before the respondents. Since the representation being made, no order was issued by the respondents. Hence, the petitioner has come forward with the present writ petition.
3. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the respondents have settled the family pension along with arrears on 24.01.2025. He further submitted that the gratuity amount for a sum of Rs.3,42,888/- is yet to be settled by the respondents.
4. Learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents seeks four weeks time to settle the aforesaid gratuity amount to the petitioner.
5. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.

6. In view of the above submission made by the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents, this writ petition is closed. No costs.
