Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent herein to pass final orders on the enquiry proceedings submitted by the 2nd respondent to the 1st respondent on the Charge Memo issued to the petitioner in Lr.No.R.27943/B1/2013 dated 20.08.2013 by the Regional Transport Officer, Redhills, Chennai-67.

ORDER
Since the prayer in the writ petition lies in a narrow campus, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
2. Mrs.M.E.Raniselvam, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents.
3. The petitioner was issued with a Charge Memo dated 20.08.2013 under Rule 17(b) of the Tamil Nadu Civil Services https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
(Discipline & Appeal) Rules. Thereafter, an enquiry was conducted by the second respondent. After completing the enquiry, the second respondent sent his report to the first respondent. However, the first respondent did not communicate the report and ask the comment of the petitioner. It is not known as to whether the Enquiry Officer held that the charges were proved or the petitioner was exonerated from the charges. In these circumstances, the petitioner has come up with this writ petition seeking for a direction to the first respondent to pass final orders on the enquiry proceedings submitted by the second respondent to the first respondent on the Charge Memo issued to the petitioner in Lr.No.R.27943/B1/2013 dated 20.08.2013 within a stipulated period.

In the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, the first respondent is directed to pass final orders on the enquiry proceedings submitted by the second respondent relating to the Charge Memo issued to the petitioner in Lr.No.R.27943/B1/2013 dated 20.08.2013, within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
