ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the second and third respondents to consider and pass orders on the representations of the petitioner dated 04.05.2010 and 09.03.2023 for grant of patta in the name of the petitioner in respect of the land measuring an extent of 0.35 acre comprised in S.No.105 of Okkiyam Duraipakkam Village, Solinganallur Taluk, Chennai District.

2. With the consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is disposed of at the admission stage itself.

3. The case of the petitioner is that he has given a representation on 09.03.2023 for grant of patta in the name of the petitioner in respect of the land measuring an extent of 0.35 acre comprised in S.No.105 of Okkiyam Duraipakkam Village, Solinganallur Taluk, Chennai District. However, the same has not been considered. Hence, this Writ Petition.

5. Considering the limited relief sought for in this writ petition, without going into the merits of this petition, the respondents are directed to consider the representation of the petitioner on its own merits and in accordance with law and pass orders within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above observations, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
