ORDER

The writ petition has been instituted to direct the 1st respondent to cancel the forged sale deed Doc.No.696/1998 dated 20.03.1998 at SRO, Velachery as illegal and void.

2. In respect of the complaint made before the respondents to cancel the Sale Deed dated 20.03.1998, the authorities competent had issued a notice for conducting an enquiry. The said notice dated 12.02.2019 was issued, asking the 3rd respondent to participate in the oral enquiry proceedings on 26.02.2019. That notice was also under challenge in W.P.No.12410 of 2023 by the writ petitioners. The said writ petition was dismissed on the ground that no writ against a notice is entertainable and the petitioners are at liberty to approach the competent authority for redressal of their grievances. That being the order passed in the writ petition in W.P.No.12410 of 2023, the relief as such sought for in the present writ petition to cancel the sale deed dated 20.03.1998 cannot be granted by this Court.

3. The petitioners are at liberty to participate in the process of enquiry to be conducted by the competent authority for the purpose of establishing their case and to redress their grievances in the manner known to law.

4. With these observations, the writ petition stands dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. 24.04.2023 Index : Yes Speaking order kak To 1.The Inspector General of Registrations Santhome High Road, Mylapore, Chennai - 600 028.
