By consent, the main writ petition itself is taken up for disposal at the admission stage itself.

The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition, to issue a writ of mandamus, directing the 3rd respondent to consider the application of the petitioner, dated 19.07.2016 to issue Patta to her land situated in R.S.No.3968/80 part of Block No.88, Mylapore Village, measuring an extent of 1469.33 sq.ft based on the Settlement Deed, dated 10.02.2014, on the file of S.R.O., Mylapore within a time frame.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that in spite of the petitioner's application dated 19.07.2016 for issuance of Patta, the third respondent has not passed any order so far.

4. Mr.S.Navaneethan, learned Additional Government Pleader taking notice for the respondents, submitted that the third respondent may be directed to consider the application of the petitioner, dated 19.07.2016, for issuance of patta and pass orders in accordance with law, after giving notice to all the interested parties, within a period of four weeks.

5. In view of the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the third respondent to consider the petitioner's application, dated 19.07.2016, for issuance of Patta and pass orders in accordance with law, after giving notice to all the interested parties concerned, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With this observation, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
