Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking for a writ of certiorarified mandamus calling for the records pertaining to the proceedings of the 3rd respondent in reference No.e/f/vz;85-Kfhk;-fh/J/fehkf;fy; 2015 dated 29.04.2015 and to quash the same and consequently directing the 3rd respondent to give police protection for the temple festival to be conducted from 26.06.2015 to 04.07.2015.

ORDER

The above writ petition was listed on 15.06.2016 for withdrawal and since it was opposed by Mrs.Selvi George, learned counsel appearing for the impleaded parties, viz., respondents 5 to 9, the matter is listed today.

The petitioner / party-in-person has submitted a letter dated 30.11.2015 to the Collector of Namakal District, stating that since the dates fixed for the festival between 11.11.2015 and 23.11.2015 have already been over, he is not interested in prosecuting the writ petition and he has also produced the said letter before this Court. The said letter submitted by the petitioner / party-in-person is taken on file and forms part of the record.

The petitioner / party-in-person has also made an endorsement in the writ petition expressing his intention to withdraw this writ petition.

Therefore, the writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petitions are also dismissed.
