This Writ Miscellaneous Petition is filed seeking a direction to the fourth and fifth respondents to sanction the annual increments for the period 19.05.2005 to 31.10.2007 and for the period 21.06.2012 to 28.06.2017 and other selection grade pay and special grade pay to the petitioner.

2. According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, the claim for award of increment is due as sought for in this petition has not been considered by the fourth and fifth respondents so far. Because of the inaction on the part of the respondents, the petitioner is put to great prejudice.

3. In the circumstances the petitioner is permitted to submit a representation making his claim clear to the third respondent within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and on submission of such representation, the third respondent shall consider the claim of the petitioner and pass appropriate orders after affording an opportunity of personal hearing of the petitioner within a further period of six weeks from the date of submission of the Page No.1 of 3

representation by the petitioner.

4. Accordingly, this Writ Miscellaneous Petition is ordered.

5. List the main case on 14.09.2024.
