2. The petitioner seeks for mandamus directing the respondent to extend the period of tender of Prasadham Stall at Anaimalai Masani Amman Temple, Coimbatore District from 30.06.2020 to one more year.

3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel for the respondent.

4. The petitioner is the successful bidder for running a Prasadham Stall at the respondent-Temple for the year 2019-2020. It is stated that the bid amount was Rs.96,00,800/-. The period of lease came to an end on 30.06.2020. Since the temples are closed due to the present pandemic situation for more than 3 months commencing from March 2020, it is stated that the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

petitioner is not in a position to run her stall and thus, she sought for extension of the lease period by making representations on 04.04.2020 and 18.05.2020. Since those representations were not considered, the present writ petition is filed before this Court.

5. The learned counsel for the respondent fairly submitted that the petitioner's representations will be considered and appropriate orders will be passed taking into consideration of the present pandemic situation.

6. In view of the above, the present writ petition is disposed of, by directing the respondent to consider the representations made by the petitioner for extension of the lease period and pass orders on the same within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
