Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to grant temporary status and regularize the services of the petitioner from the date of initial appointment dated 22.11.1999, vide Letter C.No.II/31/2/99 Estt.PF within a time frame as fixed by this Court. When this matter came up before this Court, the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent 1 and 2 would submit that the petitioner has not made any representation to the respondents 1 and 2 to consider the request for grant of temporary status and regularization of causal labourers and if any representation is made by the petitioner, the same will be considered.

2. In the light of the above submission, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has in fact sent a representation to the respondents but in the typed set of papers, the petitioner has not enclosed a copy of the said representation addressed to the respondents.
3. In view of the above, this Court is inclined to permit the petitioner to make a fresh representation to the respondents within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and if any such representation is received by the respondents, the respondents are directed to consider the same and pass appropriate orders within a period of twelve weeks thereafter.
