The main suit has been filed by the applicant for a declaration that the Tamil feature film titled 'AYODHI' directed by the first defendant and produced by the second defendant is the infringing copy of the script and screenplay registered under the title 'YAADHUM OORE' and for a permanent injunction restraining the defendants from releasing / distributing / exhibiting or exploiting the said film 'AYODHI' in Internet, You Tube and other OTT Platforms.

2. It is asserted by the applicant that though the first, third and fourth defendants are currently residing outside the jurisdiction of this Court, the cause of action had arisen within the city limits of Chennai.
