By consent, the main writ petition itself is taken up for disposal at the admission stage itself.
2. The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition, to issue a writ of mandamus, directing the first respondent to pass orders on the petitioner's appeal, dated 23.02.2017 by granting an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that though the petitioner has filed the appeal as early as on 23.02.2017, the first respondent has not disposed of the same yet.

4. Mr.R.Rajeswaran, learned Special Government Pleader taking notice for the respondents, submitted that the first respondent may be directed to dispose of the appeal, in accordance with law, after giving notice to all the interested parties, within a period of eight weeks.
5. In view of the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the first respondent to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner in accordance with law, after giving notice to all the interested parties concerned, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. With this observation, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
