ORDER
This writ petition is filed for a direction to the respondents to survey, sub-divide and issue separate patta of petitioner's property for the land in Survey Number Melchithamur S.No.89/3A2A, 89/3A2B based on the petitioner's application for the survey, measurement vide Challan No.20230420021574 dated 20.04.2023.
2. The petitioner submitted an application on 20.04.2023 with a request for sub-division of petitioner's property and issuance of patta, which is pending without consideration.
3. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents and perused the materials available on record.
4. By consent of both parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
5. Considering the limited relief sought for in this writ petition, the first respondent is directed to consider the application of the petitioner dated 2/4
20.04.2023 and pass appropriate orders on the petitioner's representation for sub-division and issuance of patta for the lands comprised in S.Nos.89/3A2A, 89/3A2B situated at Melchithamur Village, Gingee Taluk, Villupuram District, on merits and in accordance with law, after giving notice to the neighbouring land owners and any other interested persons. Such exercise shall be completed within a period of two months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
