ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by R.SUBRAMANIAN, J.) Paragraph 7 of the order dated 12.12.2022, in Cont.P.No.1628 of 2022, reads as under:

"Considering the submission of Mr.J.Ravindran, learned Additional AdvocateGeneral, that a proposal will have to emanate from the first respondent for payment of arrears of pension and also that of Mr.S.Parthaysarathy, learned Senior Counsel for the first respondent that the first respondent would submit a proposal to the Government immediately, we grant a time of 30 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order for forwarding the said proposal. In case the proposal is not forwarded to the Government for payment of arrears of pension, and, interest is not paid by the first respondent to the petitioner within the time stipulated supra, it is open for the petitioner to reopen the contempt proceedings at that stage."

2. It is the claim of the petitioner that the direction contained have not been complied with. The order gives liberty to the petitioner to seek reopening of the contempt if the directions are not complied with. Hence the contempt is reopened.

3. Registry is directed to issue notice requiring appearance of the first respondent in court, in person, on 14.03.2025.

4. Post on 14.03.2025.
