Respondents Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus to call for the records in connection with the order of detention passed by the second respondent dated 20.03.2020 in B3.D.O.No.30/2020 against the petitioner's husband Palani, male, aged 57 years, S/o.Murugan, who is confined at Central Prison, Vellore and set aside the same and direct the respondents to produce the detenu before this Court and set him at liberty.

ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by M.M.SUNDRESH, J.] Seeking a direction to the respondents to release the petitioner's husband Palani, male, aged 57 years, S/o.Murugan, aged about 57 years, now confined in the Central Prison, Vellore, the present habeas corpus petition has been filed by the wife of the detenu.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

3. Learned counsel appearing for both the parties submitted that the detenu died in the prison on 30.10.2020.

4. In view of the above, the Habeas Corpus Petition stands closed.
